Real estate broker Shane Newell specializes in commercial properties and equestrian estates.  In 2007, Newell founded the Saratoga franchise of Sotheby's International Realty and in 2009, SIREhorse.com, the national advertising campaign for horse farms.  

As a property specialist, Newell directed a statewide development plan for SBA Towers' wireless telecommunication expansion. In 2002, Newell joined KeyBank National Association where he became Vice-President of Corporate Real Estate and was named Most Valuable Team Player of 2003.  

In 2004, Newell elected to rejoin the independent market as a real estate investor and consultant.  He heads Empire Commercial Real Estate and Field View Development. His holdings include The KeyBank Building in Cooperstown, NY.  

Shane has published The Essential Guide to Stevens Decoys and serves as a guest speaker at various central New York museum societies and clubs on the topic of antique duck decoys.
